🌍 Europe (39 Countries)

Airalo's European regional plan covers all EU member states plus Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Turkey, and several Balkan nations. Coverage quality is generally excellent, with 4G/LTE widely available and 5G in major cities.

Local nuances:

  • UK is not included in European regional plans (post-Brexit)
  • Some rural areas in Eastern Europe may have limited 4G coverage
  • Hotspot availability varies by country within the plan

🌏 Asia (20+ Countries)

Asian coverage includes Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, India, and more. Network quality is outstanding in East Asia, with Japan and South Korea offering some of the fastest mobile data speeds globally.

Local nuances:

  • China requires a separate local plan (VPN restrictions apply)
  • India requires passport registration for some plans
  • Remote islands in Southeast Asia may have limited coverage

🌎 Americas

Coverage spans the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and more. The USA plan uses T-Mobile and AT&T networks, providing excellent nationwide coverage.

Local nuances:

  • Rural areas in South America may have 3G-only coverage
  • Canada and USA require separate local plans (not in same regional plan)
  • Some Caribbean islands have limited plan availability

🌍 Middle East & Africa

Coverage includes UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco, and more. Urban coverage is strong in Gulf states; rural African coverage varies significantly by country.

Local nuances:

  • Some Gulf states restrict VoIP services (WhatsApp calls may not work)
  • Safari destinations in East Africa may have patchy coverage
  • North African coverage is stronger in coastal cities
